Naira at ₦1,375 NFEM on May 25. The CBN has held the ₦1,300-₦1,450 band for months; Q3 brings election-bid season + lower oil revenue, both Naira-negative. ₦1,400 is just 1.8% weaker — basically a coin-flip on direction.

Resolution criteria

Resolves YES if the CBN-published Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) closing rate for USD/NGN on July 31, 2026 is ₦1,400.00 or higher (Naira is weaker). If July 31 is not a trading day, the closing rate on the previous trading day is used. Source: cbn.gov.ng/rates. Resolves NO if the closing rate is below ₦1,400.00.
